Seeni Banis, also called Tea Buns in other parts of the world are buns with a sugary topping and called “Seeni Banis” in Sri Lanka. However this page is not about buns, but about an installation kit for copying entire Arch Linux instalations from one machine to another. Things have not yet been much user friendly or portable, but it certainly can be done in moderate amount of time, all you need is a working Arch Linux install and these scripts (of which the installation directory is assumed to be /scripts in the README …etc).
These scripts were written originally to help me setup a system soon after I have copied all the system files in to the new root partition. How to run them are detailed on the README. Please note that these only work on Arch Linux systems or systems that are derived from Arch Linux. This system is shipped with Arch Seeni Banis, which is an image of what I use personally. Hence, the name “Arch Seenis Banis Installation Kit”.
